Our Whole Lives

Our Whole Lives (OWL) is a comprehensive, factual, values-based, age-appropriate, human sexuality program developed by the Unitarian Universalist Association and the United Church of Christ. Clarify values, build interpersonal skills, and understand the spiritual, emotional, and social aspects of sexuality.

Fall 2017: 4th-6th Grade OWL.  Mandatory Caregiver/Child Orientation Sept. 10 1:00-3:30, Rm. 205.  Ten sessions offered during the Celebration of Life services from 11-12:15 beginning Sept. 17, Rm. 204.  

Spring 2018:  10-12th Grade OWL.  Offered jointly with Thomas Jefferson Unitarian Church.  Times and dates TBD.

Additional information:
First Unitarian offers all age-appropriate OWL curricula on a rotating schedule. Six OWL grade levels are available:

  • Kindergarten/1st Grade
  • 4th- 5th Grade
  • 7th - 9th Grade
  • 10th - 12th Grade
  • Young Adult
  • Adult
