I hope you had a wonderful holiday week. I have two important messages for you.
- First, the church building will be CLOSED tomorrow, Jan. 5th due to incoming inclement weather. Reverend Macklin will host a simple, short Zoom gathering of reading, reflection and meditation. This will not include elements of a regular worship service although we will have a time for Joys and Sorrows. Here is the link.

- Second, what will happen to the worship service that was scheduled for tomorrow?
We are postponing the worship service, guest speaker, luncheon and class presentation to February 2nd.
February 2nd: A Green Story: Donating Your Body
to the Earth

For our worship service (postponed from January 5th), we welcome guest speaker Jennifer Crossen who will share stories about green burial in Kentucky. Jennifer calls green burial a labor of love in her life. Following the service, there will be a luncheon. After the luncheon, you are invited to join the first hour of the FirstULou Death and Dying class, where we will have a more in-depth conversation with Jennifer, including PowerPoint and Q&A.
- Finally, one other important update: Reverend Mary Ann will be away January 6th through January 18th as part of her scheduled time-off.
