Today, May 31, dozens of Unitarians from First Unitarian, TJ and Clifton stood on the 4th street sidewalk in front of First U with friends from the neighborhood in support of Black Lives Matter and the ongoing fight to end police brutality. We stood 6 ft apart, with masks and with signs, waving at cars as they passed, including a huge vehicle filled with National Guard troops. After 30-45 minutes we adjourned to the courtyard, where we heard Rev. Lori, Bill Allison, Maddie Jones and others speak. Sorry if you missed this rather spontaneous, last minute call to action, but you can still listen to our community speaking out.
