Uncomfortable when you encounter a homeless person on the street, or more directly, on our porch? Attend this workshop and learn how how to handle the encounter with awareness and compassion.

Presenter Tim Welsch, LCSW and a counselor at Family Health Center’s Phoenix Healthcare for the Homeless is the primary speaker and trainer. This workshop is sponsored by the First U Committee on Homelessness and CLCM (Central Louisville Community Ministry).

If you wish to learn more, contact Cassandra Culin. It is particularly to attend if you wish to be part of the ‘in process of being created Compassion Team” for direct involvement in dealing with homelessness on our doorstep.

Workshop takes place in the sanctuary of First Unitarian Church, 809 South 4th Street, Louisville
