There’s a study that shows a strong correlation between young adults who continue with their faith tradition and whether five or more adults in their congregation knew them as children – as in what they like to do and what music they like, not just what their name is and which grown-ups they belong to. As a multi-generational community we need to build these connections and in Adult Religious Exploration, where we believe “the congregation is our curriculum,” we cannot operate in a silo.
