First U members and friends (and anyone you want to bring along) will gather at Nerd Nite Louisville – a monthly meeting at Gravely Brewing Co., Nerd Nite begins at 7 (people start rolling in around 6:30) and runs till 8:45 pm. There are 3 presentations on topics that each presenter is passionate about. Think of Ted Talks…but there’s beer. We won’t know April’s topics until this weekend, so it’s kind of a pot luck for the brain. Look for the topics and more info at https://www.facebook.com/nerdnitelouisville
Reserve tickets here. The ”fair share” price is $20. You can get a ticket for free if you want. If you want to pay something, get a free ticket and add a donation.
Food and beverages are sold separately at your table.
IF YOU WISH TO SIT WITH OTHER UUs… If you get your tickets by Monday, April 14 and tell us your e-mail address (on your ticket order) and the number of tickets by noon on Tuesday, April 15, we will ask the Nerd Nite organizers to seat you with the UUs. Write to us with your confirmed ticket information.
BONUS: On Sunday, April 27, the morning Adult Religious Exploration session (10 am in the Library) will have a discussion about Nerd Nite. You don’t need to do both. We’d love for you to do both. But you can enjoy either one without being obligated to do the other.
