Summertime typically offers the opportunity for a variety of experiences, and given the restrictions of movement this past year many of us have been eager to travel and endeavor new adventures. Sometimes, however, our travels to new horizons occur through the vehicle of Netflix, and are not limited to geographic destinations. On the next two Sundays Rev. Lori explores soulful expeditions offered by black television writer and producer Shonda Rhimes. Our August 15th exploration addresses the tendency many of us have to avoid pain, taking inventory of what’s behind the pain, and the intersection of grief and love.
Our water contributions symbolize the water of life and the places we have been, even if it is only our own back yard.
Due to the Delta surge in Covid infections, Religious Education classes will NOT be held. Also, there will be no Sunday lunch by Tiffany. We will all be masked, and sitting in family groups with social distancing. Please, for the love of your community, use the Zoom option if you or members of your family have not been vaccinated.
