Our Church Treasurer shared more cool details.
“You’ll see in all your church media this week — the OOS, the midweek update, on Facebook, that our slogan this year is: Investing in a Diverse, Equitable, and Inclusive Future.

• Our annual pledge campaign kicks off today. The funds you pledge now will fund our ministry for the church year 2025 – 2026. This church relies on our yearly pledges and giving to fund this building, our minister and staff, and all of our programs.  Combined, our giving ensures the healthy continuation of a ministry that has been here in Louisville since the 1830’s.
• We are proud that in the last four years, our staff has received annual cost of living increases, our building has gotten the needed repairs, and our church has maintained its pledge to CLOUT and CLCM.  We were able to do a ministerial search offering a competitive benefits package for a new minister. This is only because you as a group continue to give generously and increase your pledge when you can. I am here today to ask you to make the same commitment you have this year, or even to add a little if you can.  I know these are uncertain times and each of us is affected in different ways by the current chaos, but I ask you to have faith in our future as you consider your pledge this year. What we do here, together matters.

Please take some time to turn in your pledge these next weeks.  If you are ready to do it now, we will be in the church social hall after the service, come find us.  If you need to talk through your finances with your family before you pledge please pick up a QR code or pledge form that you can fill out and turn in next week. If you have signed the book in the last year, please expect a call from someone with the campaign, and be sure to pick up when they call.
