What a wonderful weekend here at the First Unitarian Church of Louisville. As Interim Minister, the opportunity to overlap with Rev. Liz as she prepares for her ministry here has warmed my heart.
Knowing this congregation as I do, I believe Rev. Liz will be a good match for you all. As she indicated, she will meet you where you are and love you for who you are. That’s pretty darn cool. 2. Meet the Moment
The Unitarian Universalist General Assembly will take place next week in Baltimore, Maryland. The theme is Meet the Moment, something that all of us Unitarian Universalists are being asked to do in these challenging times.
The following four-minute and 49-second video is an invitation to the General Assembly by Reverend Ashley Horand. However, I am asking you to take the time to listen to it because she sums up so well what Unitarian Universalist congregations, in various ways, are experiencing here in the year 2025 of the 21st century. 3. Did you “Sign the Membership Book
from 2005-2025”?
If so, you are invited to a meeting with Rev. MAM this coming Saturday, JUNE 14 from 3pm to 4:30pm in the Sanctuary. We will share some stories and offer a goodbye to my ministry here.
Hey, I don’t have time to get snacks together, so feel free to bring healthy snacks to share. You define healthy as you understand it. Kinda like God or Goddess or that Great Love that Flows through the Universe.
4. Bread for Reception on Sunday
My last worship service here as your Interim will be June 15 .If you like to bake, please bring a loaf, or more, of bread to share. And any culinary additions that would enhance its being.
