As we approach the season of celebrations with family and friends gathering for meals (hooray!), we join together as a church community in our annual bread communion.  Why and how would UUs want to participate in a ritual called communion?  Join us in person or bring your bread to your zoom screen as we explore those questions together.

Linette Lowe is a current UU seminary student and the Executive Director at Central Louisville Community Ministries, where her passions for ministry of presence and community justice work get stretched daily.  She is excited to be back in the actual, physical pulpit at First U, where she has been a member for almost 25 years and was formerly the Director of Religious Exploration.
