On the Sunday after Thanksgiving, when food and gratitude are on our minds, we invite you to join Linette Lowe, Executive Director of Central Louisville Community Ministries which is housed here at First U, for a mindful eating experience. Many of the neighbors we serve at CLCM are food insecure, and the recent government shutdown and SNAP crisis have only made things worse. About Linette: Linette Lowe is the Executive Director of Central Louisville Community Ministries, which helps stabilize our neighbors 
in crisis, and is currently the President of the Association of Community Ministries. She completed her MDiv at LPTS in 2022 and is a UU candidate for ordination. She lives outside of Bloomfield, KY, with husband Jay, son Jaymeson, loyal dog Lucy, 10 hens, and a herd of cats. Baking and eating breads of all kinds is one of her most-loved spiritual practices.
