Since the beginning of film, Hollywood has depicted our changing beliefs in the U.S. presidency through both fictional and biographical films. Yet, while the studios give us a mirror on ourself in such films, do we also find the movies guiding us on how we see history? Dale Sherman, the author of Four Scores and Seven Reels Ago, examines how we got here and what steps may lie ahead.
