Freefall

The holidays of Passover and Easter, while different in practice and meaning for the traditions of Judaism and Christianity, do share in their respective stories the experience of institutions and ways of living being upended. Many of us presently are undergoing the upending of values and expectations in our culture as we watch chaos unfolding daily.  How do we live with hope and care when everything is flying apart?  And how do we discern when to let the upending continue, and when to try and stop it?  We welcome back our former Interim Pastor, Rev. Dr. Kathy Hurt, to lead this service.

We Welcome Our Speaker
Our guest preacher this Sunday is a familiar friend, Rev. Dr. Kathy Hurt. She has served UU congregations in different parts of the country for more than 30 years. She was our interim minister from 2017-2019.  Kathy has now retired and lives in Roanoke, Virginia, but cherishes the connections she made in Louisville.
