This Sunday’s worship service is a follow-up to the previous Sunday’s meditative service involving mirrored reflection.  In this worship service, the congregation is invited into the ancient spiritual practice of Lectio Divina.

Says First U interim minister Rev. Mary Ann Macklin: “When I was trained in small group spiritual direction, we often instructed to use the repetitive practice  Lectio Divina to enter into sacred space together.   It provides another opportunity to listen with one’s heart.   Speaking of sacred space, in our Moment for All Ages we will be invited to accompany Max to explore where the Wild Things Are!”
