In this time of protest uplifting Black Lives Matter, demanding reversal of systemic racism, we see that the 4 th of July is not necessarily a joyful holiday for many. What is liberty? What is justice? The historical context for these
terms will be examined along with what we need to do to bring about change and make these
words ring true.
