In the Roman Catholic Church calendar the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi is Oct. 4 since Francis died on this date in 1226.  A saint revered in Catholic and non-Catholic circles alike, Francis, patron saint of the environment and of animals, is widely loved because of his connection with nature and creatures.  In our all-virtual Sunday service, Rev. Lori explores how our connections to animals draw us more deeply into our own walk of faith.  Our pets will also be blessed (zoom style!) in the annual Blessing of the Animals celebration.
