Pacifists, Protests, and Power

These days the nation’s spotlight on racial injustice has ushered in a plethora of commentary about protests which do not address the ‘if’ so much as the ‘how,’  giving rise to the concept of “good protester vs. bad protester.” While notable civil rights leaders and others have lauded pacifism for the road to peace, others question its efficacy as a singular strategy. This Sunday Rev. Lori will explore these questions, including how power dynamics influence this volatile and important landscape in our culture.
