The simple truth is that some of us believe that spirituality, art, and innocence are three treasures that matter hugely to the health of the individual and society – and because of our influence on the environment, these things matter to the entire ecosystem.  Jane Martin Buckley will address each of the three quite separately in terms of what they mean to her, and what has become of them in the modern world.  These remarks were adapted from a talk originally delivered Michael Leunig, an Australian artist and author, on how art can help heal society.  Here is one of Mr. Leunig’s cartoons.
