The Grace of Mary Oliver

The New York Times has described Mary Oliver as “far and away, this country’s best-selling poet.”  Sometimes criticized for the simplicity of her prose, part of her widespread appeal is indeed the simplistic and even conversational manner in which she writes.  Seemingly without design, her verses are interwoven with spirituality as she offers the reader a glimpse of the sacred through musings about the natural world.  This Sunday we will explore the life and words of this Pulitzer Prize-winning poet.
