Our UU faith would not be what it is today without the influences of a movement that in the early nineteenth century became known as Transcendentalism.  Birthed in New England by the spiritual and intellectual elite of the time, it gave rise to the embracing of divine experience in everyday life through the intermingling of spiritual and physical phenomena.   On this Sunday, 185 years to the day after the first meeting of the Transcendentalist Club, Rev. Lori addresses how our faith has been shaped by it, and how our personal spiritual lives can be as well.
