Please complete one registration form for each child you would like to participate in Religious Exploration in the coming year. This includes the nursery.

  • Call for Food Treats for Vespers – We need cookies, finger foods, and other holiday delicacies for our Vespers Service!  If we start making items now, we should have enough by December 24th.  We will have our infamous Vespers Punch, great people, and a fantastic service to celebrate. Please let us know what you can bring.
  • Adult (RE) Adult Religious Exploration  All are Welcome. Check-in begins at 9:45. Class meets in the Church Library at 10am.
  • Children’s RE: Contact Loren Children begin in the sanctuary at 11:00, then have the Moment for Ages. They leave during the Song for the Children
  • The Big Blue Basket – Please donate food for the food pantry at CLCM’s affiliate food pantry next door at Calvary Episcopal Church. Items especially needed are peanut butter, pasta and sauce, canned meat/fish, soups, breakfast cereal….but all items are gratefully accepted. Let’s fill that Big Blue Basket.

Please join us in celebrating the Winter Solstice! This service will be honoring the Cailleach, the Goddess of the long, cold winter months, as well as honoring the warmth of home, family, and friends. Let us strengthen ourselves for the cold and keep our hearts warm for this longest night of the year.

 

About the Speaker:
Valerie Schwartz has been a practicing Pagan for a little over three decades, with experience in creating and guiding seasonal and celebratory rituals. She attends First Unitarian and lives in Louisville, Kentucky with her husband, kiddo, an opinionated cat, and a dog. She holds membership in the Druid orders of
Ár nDraíocht Féin (ADF) and the Order of Bards, Ovates, and Druids (OBOD).
