The Nursery is open for babies and pre-k from 9:30am-12:15pm on Sundays.

Please complete one registration form for each child you would like to participate in Religious Exploration in the coming year. This includes the nursery.

Chili and cornbread, salad, and dessert. Suggested donation is $5, and first-time visitors are our guests!
… and after lunch – Our faithful volunteers do their part to reduce First U’s carbon footprint by ditching the disposables in favor of energy saving reusables. We’re always looking for new crew members! FIRST U MEETING THE MOMENT with REV. LIZ

Rev. Liz, along with Adult Religious Exploration and the Justice Ministry, will provide a personal assessment and overview for members and friends who want to tap into movement work, participate in direct action, and resist the state overreach and violence that impacts vulnerable people in our community.

Recognizing that there are many ways to connect with movements, we will spend time assessing what lanes we each are able to take and we will share our gifts to continue developing our knowledge of how we’re uniquely connected and what we offer. Then we’ll share and learn about the local groups we can connect with and discuss how First U can lead you into action that transforms you, if not our community and the wide world beyond.

Souper Bowl for the Food Pantry

Super Bowl is THIS Sunday – that means it’s “Souper Bowl” Sunday too!  The time is here to bring in your food donations for Calvary’s food pantry.  There’s a special need for canned soups, but any and all donations are gratefully accepted. Place your donations in the big blue basket in the sanctuary.
