  The 7th Principle Team will have postcards available Sunday and for the next few weeks for your signature to urge your metro councilperson to include $500,000 in next year’s budget for meeting the city’s goals for clean, renewable energy sources.

  May 18 Central Louisville Community Ministry and First U (Linette Lowe)
  First Unitarian is one of the member congregations that support Central Louisville Community Ministries (CLCM), and our membership is one of the many ways this congregation lives out its values in the world.  Linette Lowe, Executive Director of CLCM, will invite us to examine how First U helps meet the needs of our central Louisville neighborhood, what community ministry is, and how CLCM and the many First U members involved there are resisting the cycle of need in our community.

In this service, she will share her reflections of her two years serving First Unitarian Church of Louisville as its Interim Minister.  She will also engage the importance of good Goodbyes.

Please join us for our monthly luncheon and Farewell Party 
As part of the farewell party, we will have our monthly luncheon after the worship service.  After lunch, there will be a brief theatrical presentation then games outside in the courtyard for all ages, as well as board games and puzzles for most ages in social hall.  Please note that there will be a slight Star Trek Theme boldly flying about, flouting split infinitives.  At 2 pm, we will have a special raffle drawing and begin to wrap up.
