CLCM Food Drive for Foods for a Holiday Meal
We’re focusing on stuffing mix, canned vegetables, gravy mix etc.  Food donations can be brought to church on Sundays and placed in the blue basket in the sanctuary.Canceled: Chalice Circle Sampler Session

Through the Lens of the Past, Looking Toward the Future

The search team will talk about the history of Unitarian Universalist ministers here in Louisville and what we know about the different ways they did ministry.  Focusing through the lens of the past, the team will talk about what it means to imagine a thriving future and how it might look to live our values “out loud” in the process of hiring a new minister.
BIOs:
Kathy Rogers has been attending First Unitarian Church since December 2005 when she was drawn in by a performance of the River City Drum Corp’s Kwanzaa worship service. Kathy recently retired from the University of Louisville’s Kornhauser Health Sciences Library. She is spending her retirement helping her husband remodel his family home, geocaching, traveling, tandem bike riding, tandem canoeing, and trying to keep up with a dog, a cat and five grandchildren. Kathy is currently serving the church on the Care Team, Rev. MAM’s Transition Team, and as a server for First U’s coffee mission at UP for Women and Children.Jamie McGloin-King is a member of First Unitarian. He lives with his wife and 2 daughters and a cat in Schnitzelburg. For fun he travels to see family and friends around the country. He serves as the Chair of the Worship Ministry at First Unitarian.Jill Sampson grew up in central Indiana but has been in Louisville now for +25 years although you can’t tell it from her accent. She’s been a member at First Unitarian almost that long and is currently serving as the Treasurer on the Board of Trustees.   She lives in a doglegged-camelback- shotgun house in Germantown with her spouse and two cats.

With these, I think, gently we can begin:
